@martin-kuba Is this high priority? Its necessary to configure the logging framework so that it correctly works with spring. Meaning that Spring will log through Logback. Doable, not trivial.

It is easy, it is necessary just to exclude commons-logging from Spring and add SLF4J with bridges for other logging frameworks:

Looks good. Also it will be necessary to rewrite log4j.xml config files. But that shouldn't be that hard.

Old issue, log4j was replaced with logback long ago.
