Sorry about the delay on this, some travel and personal commitments, plus the realisation that that Flow object is quite complex are causing some delays in getting to this.

It seems there is in fact a platform bug in the Metadata API anyway in this area, i'm tracking it and will update support for this here when it's fixed.

I'm having the same problem with Reports. It appears the fullName for the Report object isn't accessible via the API, so reads, updates, and deletes aren't possible. Anyone have any success here?

Guessing that there is not any update on this topic? Any chance that they are going to fix it in the Summer '15 release?

No no progress as yet, though maybe a bit closer, in supporting the SharingRule metadata type, i did enhance the patcher tool to support inheritance in a more complex way, which looking afresh at the Flow metadata types, might just suffice...

Any progress on the Flow fix for readMetadata? I get this exception: System.CalloutException: Web service callout failed: Unable to parse callout response. Apex type not found for element name

None as yet, i've been on holiday recently and work workload will be quite high, if you wanted to try updating the patcher class and following the steps in the readme to see what output you get and if it resolves the error feel free, i'll certainly give any pointers i can along the way. Meanwhile i'll for sure keep looking for a window of time to get back to this soon! 👍
