Hey @naartjie,
Functions, unlike when you use the Firebase Admin SDK and register an .on listener will not be ran on every existing objects, it will only trigger on new events.
If you'd want to backfill the entries because you have existing data I would not do this on a Cloud Function, I would simply do it locally on your dev machine once using Firebase Admin.

Thanks for replying @nicolasgarnier. I'll work out a strategy to load this data - I don't think my laptop is the right place, as the data is too big now, but I get your suggestion thanks ;-)
