Ja, default. Ich will jedoch nicht ausschließen, dass es mit einer besonderen Anpassung / Einstellung bei uns zu tun hat. Jedoch fand ich o.g. Beitrag mit ähnlichem Problem und wollte daher vorher sicher gehen, dass das Problem (da untypisch wg. deaktivierten Bedingungen) nicht allgemein besteht.

Ich hab hier das gleiche problem. Auch bei uns (zwei verschiedene templates, beide basiert auf default/base) fehlen die buttons bei /customer/account/create. Deaktiviere Ich Firegento/magesetup dann sind die buttons wieder zurück.
Und mit folgende in local.xml geht's auch wieder gut:

</reference>

@Commercers @ottonet Bugfix wurde mit 3af18f1 vorgenommen und ist schon im Branch development enthalten.
