Seems you have used germansetup first and then switched to magesetup.
One possibility is that you still have references to the germansetup templates in your email templates. Please go through the custom email templates (or database table core_email_template) and replace all occurences of "germansetup" with "magesetup".

wow, thanks for the fast answer, Thats absolutely correct,
I have used germansetup first - and then switched to magesetup,
There are no occurences of germansetup in the table core_email_template

any other ideas ?

thanks for your help, I found more occurences in the block templates, now
all is good
