It is not actually the API that is bugging me. It is the logic, specifically from #Line 106 onwards
from monsql.
Which parts you're feeling confused with? Line 106 simply test whether the condition is None or empty dictionary.
The whole method is written based on recursion idea. It simplifies an unsolved problem to a solved problem by transforming the conditions. One example is, {'id': 1, 'name': 'Jack'} is transformed to {'$and': ['id': 1, 'name': 'Jack']}

I meant from that line going downwards. It is not intuitive.

Um I see....well I was trying to make this algorithm simple, but I guess the simplification could make it a little bit difficult to understand...however because I was the one who wrote them, to me they seem quite intuitive...

Maybe you can tell me which parts you're confused with? So I can make the code more straightforward to understand. I've added some examples to each part to now it should be easier to understand.
