Option for not scrolling parent if child is still in view? about jquery.scrollto HOT 3 CLOSED

Hi, I don't think this is SUCH a common thing one needs, you usually want the scrolling to be a certain position, and even if the target is in view, you want to scroll. Also the code needed to implement this on every situation and every browser should be a bit lengthy considering the plugin is pretty short.
I recommend you find another plugin that handles this and use both together, something like:

if ( $elem.isIntoView($otherElem) ) {
$otherElem.scrollTo( $elem );
}

Or write that code yourself and combine it in the same way.
Note that I always strive to keep these plugins as simple as possible.

I get it, I still think the right way to go is to combine this plugin with either another plugin that does what you need (I know there are) or just whip those 3-4 lines of code yourself or look them up on Google and combine it with scrollTo.
It's too big and unrelated to consider adding it to scrollTo.
