Not sure what the status is, but here's at least a POC Stackdriver integration. https://github.com/apstndb/fluent-bit-stackdriver

Would be nice indeed. I spent some time configuring fluentd for stackirver only to find out it doesn't work with on-premise installations, was hoping perhaps fluent-bit would have the right integration.

@edsiper Where can we see the progress? Is there any way we can help?
Currently, I want to connect a custom kubernetes cluster to Google Stackdriver logs and am not looking forward to configure fluentd and would love to see this in fluentbit. I'm not afraid of writing C code.

stackdriver plugin merged in GIT master.
Note: it does not lookup for resources metadata, it only uses resources global.
