Shortcuts widget consumes keys that should be consumed by descendant widgets about flutter HOT 5 CLOSED

Hmmm, looking at DefaultTextEditingShortcuts, I'm pretty sure that the behavior above is actually working as intended - and in fact what I've done in the above app is to override the default binding for LogicalKeyboardKey.arrowRight (by registering my shortcut below WidgetsApp, which is the part of the tree where DefaultTextEditingShortcuts registration is done).

I'm guessing the official answer will be to override the default binding at the WidgetsApp layer (via WidgetsApp.shortcuts)

Yes, that seems like the right answer. You can get the map of default shortcuts from WidgetsApp.defaultShortcuts, and replace the ones you want to change.
