Hi @moonshinephoenix
What is your Firefox version? I'm using Firefox 125.0.3 (64-bit) on macOS but couldn't reproduce the issue. Inspecting the color, I see it's transparent but the text is black on the field:

I have 125.0.3 64 bit as well but on Windows 10

I checked this on Windows as well but couldn't reproduce it. Looks like you run web in HTML renderer, I tried the same but didn't see the issue.
I'm unsure if there is any Firefox extension that may cause this, could you check this on a Firefox private window? Also, does the issue happen on Chrome or Edge browser?
