Hey - thanks for raising this, we've made some (backwards incompatible) changes to the FDK runtime which is bundled into the base image.
You can pin functions to a specific runtime and build container in your func.yaml as follows:
for Java 9
build_image: fnproject/fn-java-fdk-build:jdk9-1.0.54
run_image: fnproject/fn-java-fdk:jdk9-1.0.54
or 8:
build_image: fnproject/fn-java-fdk-build:1.0.54
run_image: fnproject/fn-java-fdk:1.0.54
Recent versions of the CLI will auto-pin these with fn init.
