What would be the point of this? As is the servers job is to relay changes in the database to all connected clients. This is efficient since it doesn't require clients to download the entire database on reconnect. Adding the task of block generation would only give the server an extra job and inhibit performance.

@MrSilent it is pretty much a requirement if you want to simulate animals and mobs that are visible to all players. Else you would need to establish who is simulating what. Other than that it's not required I guess.

There are some things that the server cannot validate - like destruction of clouds - without knowing the default map.
- Destroy blocks that are not destructable (clouds).
- Place blocks on top of flowers.
- Places blocks mid-air.
Also, if a block is set to 0 (EMPTY) and it was EMPTY in the default world anyway, the server could save space.

@Bergasms If simulating AI is what you want why use python? This would make the server less portable for guys running it on raspberry pi as the board just can't handle running the binary(though it did build smoothly). In short. The python server is simple, and portable so if anything a new branch should be made to offer an interactive mode and a build only mode.
