The reproduction not working has nothing to do with being a pro input, pro inputs work by default in the playground, the reason being is that i18n as a library doesn't work there and multi-step plugin is a additional plugin that adds a input, so it needs to be added.
As to why it doesn't work I believe is because label is not reactive for it, still a bug tho: https://formkit.link/b9073edf11982e7a346f57205294f2d9
