Those seem more like a Flarum bugs to me. Any extension could use a dropdown on the homepage, and we are not customizing the default CSS from Flarum.
On Flarum 1.5 I'm not seeing any dropdown backdrop on my test website. Does it only appear on real mobile devices or maybe it was removed since then?
