That would be ideal, thank you!

@Quaiks when you say it makes a lot of noise, do you mean it is causing a bunch of warning messages in the logs? Can you give an example output?

@tyduptyler13 would it be better to just document these values and not ship an example application.properties ? Is there a standard way to do this in Spring land?

I can fix this but there is also a branch with a more modern spring security option available that deprecates this client all together.

It just needs some work to get it merge ready.

I checked the repo and there is no application.properties, so I assume when @robotdan published this that you still have that file floating around your repo? It shouldn't be gitignored either so it should mean you have a dirty repo, if you want to check.

@robotdan Hi we're also having problems with this file. It's not very common, in my experience, to ship default properties files with a library so to your question on April 6th, yes it would be much better to remove the file and document the properties. The thing that is most troublesome though is the inclusion of a server.port. Due to Spring's configuration preference order this will override a local application.yml server port with 8081 which can be rather frustrating to track down.

Thanks for the feedback @nicko. It looks like the application.properties was removed from this project. There is an example one shipped in the fusionauth-example-spring-security repo.

Perhaps we just need to publish a new version of the jar. I'll check on that.

Releasing 1.0.5 of the jar w/out the application.properties file.
