Yum pkg command failing about ansible-role-packer_rhel HOT 4 CLOSED

pkg is deprecated in Ansible 2.0 (so I'll definitely switch to name soon); however, it should still work... if you just switch it to name, does it work or is there still some sort of error?

I'm wondering if the kernel.release.stdout might be causing the trouble.

I'm trying to track it down. It may not be that at all. Having a hard time finding the error. Packer is erroring out right when it hits the Ansible provisioner.

ERROR: package is not a legal parameter in an Ansible task or handler

This may have nothing to do with this package but it is the first Ansible package that gets hit before failing. So I have been starting there.

This was not the result of my error. I removed this from my playbook

- name: update all packages
  yum: name=* state=latest

What is weird is I think the packages is what was failing. I'm not really sure. Need to investigate more. Thanks.
