Hmm interesting.
I can see the use case for this. But I'm not sure about the implementation.
The problem with this is that it needs implementation for each method ('live', 'embed' and 'append').
For embed (either go or syso) this is easy; just take the keys from the Files and Dirs maps in the EmbeddedBox. For append and live some more work should be done.
I'm thinking though, would it maybe be better to create a Walk method that looks just like filepath.Walk() ? It could even accept path/filepath.WalkFunc, so it's a drop-in replacement for filepath.Walk().
What are your thoughts on this?

Using walk
sounds like a great idea! I'm fine with that.

Are you going to implement or should I?

If you could impement that would be great!

Auch.. Those sons of ** at that library!
If it was in the Netherlands, I would've gone straight to the press. I don't know how something like this is 'viewed' in the US though..
Anyway.. Too bad that you didn't have time to work on this issue, or other computer related things, for that matter..
Do you plan to add this feature when you have the time? If yes: any indication to when you have time again?
Much luck with the library stuff.. I hope it'll all settle well for you. And for what it's worth: I completely back your story. You did it the right way. I'm a huge fan of http://www.responsibledisclosure.nl/en/, you might find it interesting.

I will probably only have time when school starts. (~1 month) You can go ahead and add this feature if you don't want to wait 😄
Thanks for the support. I totally agree with the responsible disclosure policy.
