[Feature] Allow password fill using a password manager about lightning-browser-extension HOT 6 CLOSED

It seems you need to adjust the match detection (as that is not available for local TLDs):

I used "starts with" and just entered the extension URL (without the "popup.html"):

@verityj Thanks for raising this issue. I didn't really know about the context menu from Bitwarden, thanks for adding the screenshots.

You can get the extension URLs by opening e.g. the settings menu in your browser:

When you update your Bitwarden entry with the URL you see in the address bar of your browser your password should show up:

Thank you. I looked through "page source" and the location bar shows chrome-extension://iokeahhehimjnekafflcihljlcjccdbe/prompt.css?b64e8ea5cdb46ab290a2 but unfortunately no part of it as a bitwarden URI works to recognize the popup for auto fill.

Also inspected the popup element and the address was chrome-extension://iokeahhehimjnekafflcihljlcjccdbe/popup.html but still didn't work as a URI.

Based on your screenshots, did it work for you? I still get no matching logins.

Thank you!!! That was the missing piece (driving me crazy). I never clicked into the URI settings. Yes, I can confirm that password management works with the Alby popup and extension login.

(Auto fill doesn't work for me but I can right click into the Bitwarden menu and copy password).
