when gauge python upgrade to 0.3.15, error got an unexpected token STAR here about gauge-python HOT 3 OPEN

I have this issue as well. Tested with python 3.11, getgauge 0.3.17.
the following code results with the below error:
app = subprocess.Popen([exePath, *appArgs], shell=True)

error:
Failed to parse c:\Repo\430_WindowsDriverInstaller\common_libs\supportLibs\steps\steps_SDK.py: Error, got an unexpected token STAR here:
app = subprocess.Popen([exePath, *<---- here

It worked well with getgauge 0.3.10

I have these issues too, works perfectly in getgauge 0.3.9 but when I upgrade to latest getgauge (0.3.17) I get a bunch of these parsing errors...

Can you share the spec file format at the following location in your error trace?

Parsing library changed 0.3.9 and 0.3.15 and this could be because of an unexpected format in your gauge spec file on implementation.
