[Bug] Container image missing `iputils` -- ping property fails about homepage HOT 6 CLOSED

I somehow ended up on https://gethomepage.dev/v0.7.0/ and didn't realize it, so the docs I was following were out of date. Appreciate the updated link.

I don't understand why you closed this though. I just demonstrated that iputils isn't installed inside your container image? So pings will not work without that package?

It’s trying to use ping on the host, eg your server and it seems has a permission issue but that is not a general issue that we’re seeing reported.

The host in this case is your container image....... Please see the screenshots I shared in the original body.

Either way siteMonitor makes more sense for my use case so I'll just use that instead.
