Hey @mmijalic-margins 👋 , can you please provide a small code sample to allow me to reproduce this? The backgroundColor you mention in the issue has a default property of null so I'm not fully sure how you're getting there.

We see this issue as well. For us, setting the StreamMessageListViewThemeData backgroundColor to transparent allows the image behind the chat to be shown. However, when a new message is received, we see an opaque color similar to the one shown in the screenshot reported above. Sending null for the background color doesn't show the underlying image.
