Sadly this tool is experimental. With that said this tools purpose is also not to focus on this sort of ability.

That being said, it is my understanding that Qualcomm devices ensure some sort of protection for IMEI/MEID repair in that certain bits are set that disallow the rewriting of these NV items after they have been set initially.

It is my understanding for older devices that knowing the 16 digit passcode to the modem allows for such repairs. However that may not be the case for all models. These types of features are OEM specific. Qualcomm distributes their code to OEMs with the ability to change this behavior as well as implement additional hooks for OEMs to implement such behavior. So it very well may be OEM specific.

I am not ruling out other ways to changing this information through exploits and such. But the scope of this project is not this focus. Therefore I will close this issue in that it is not in the scope of this project.

With all that being said, support for AT commands is non-existent or primitive at the moment.

If you care to have those abilities, contribute to the project or wait for the only two developers to add this feature.

Using minicom will allow you to issue AT commands as long as your device exposes a modem to the guest OS. However you will need to know exactly what commands to send.

Additionally, a word of note is to ALWAYS backup EFS and any other applicable data when making changes. Corruption to this partition may cause lots of issues if you do not know what you are doing. On modern QC SoCs this is as easy as backing up these partitions with Root access on your MMC block device. The partitions you need to backup are modemst1 and modemst2 (usually a backup).
