Thanks for the question.

Making queries as simple as possible is a primary design goal of the library.

I've yet to find a way to reliably parse all the various ways in which a dataFunc could be constructed, so providing the column name via dataName is still required at present.

However, your query can still be simplified further - just supply the dataName inline:

sprLib.list('Events').items({
  listCols: {
    EventId: { dataName: 'ID' },
    SupplierIds: {
      dataName: 'SupplierId',
      dataFunc: function (objItem) { return objItem.SupplierId.results }
    }
  }
})

Hi @gitbrent,

This leads to a suggestion. The current bi-directional interface presented for single valued SupplierId could usefully be generalised to a list of Ids for a multi-valued Lookup. If I am successful I will send you a pull request.

That would be nice - ideally, getting a consistent array of ID's is superior to some JSON with results:[]
