By design we consider that once an information is written it should be permanent. Both from the whistleblower side and the recipient side.
Enabling to have an edit enables tempering.

For amendments we have a special permission that enables to mask (hide) or redact (delete) information but is limited to recipients.

I suggest to look at it and evaluate if it satisfy your needs and provide us your feedback.

I have taken a look in the documentation and in the admin panel but cannot find the permission you are talking about.

Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Unfortunately I am not seeing these options.

Log as administrator, look at your recipients and you should find these options in their configuration sections.

If you do not find them, please attach a screenshot of what you see.
