Long time ago, in goetas/xsd2php#35 there was a discussion on how to do it... and all the solutions emerged were not good enough.. mainly because PHP itself does not support ENUMS
from xsd2php.

Ok i see (how could i not find this thread?)
I would still prefer constants over DocBlocks, resp. DocBlocks as additionally.
Constants feel like a very common, intuitive approach.
Using Slugify for constant names generation and making the generation optional seem like good ideas to me.
To avoid empty classes constants could be added to owner class, as i proposed above.
