Hmm, I started working on this and realized that we don't currently have a way to report a match at a different AST node than the one we're scanning. For performance, we want to scan EmptyStatementTree's, but now we want to report a match at the then statement.
Maybe we want to add a Matcher#matches method which returns a Tree?

That might be good idea. I remember coming across a case where this would be useful, but I can't recall it offhand.
