I think the user's confusion might derive from the fact that GMail provides multiple options for two-factor authentication. It can generate and accept codes that it sends by SMS (that's presumably what the user enrolled in), and it can accept codes that were computed off-line by the Android application.

It sounds as if the user is hoping to use the Android application and for some reason fails to find it in the Market. This is certainly a problem, but I am not sure what we can do about it. It might very well be an issue with the Samsung Galaxy that he could try taking up with Samsung. But that seems rather onerous.

He could also always build the APK file from the sources, but that is probably not something we can expect off most of our users.

So, alternatively, we could consider making pre-built binaries available from the "Download" section. I don't know if this would easily fit into everybody's work-flow. So, I'll leave the bug open for now.

I think this is the same thing as Issue 1. The APK does not specify it supports any densities so it only works for mdpi devices.
