I'm reluctant to update the local datastore for this property given that we won't be using it in the short-term for rendering in the app, but I do that think that we shouldn't close this bug until we have it fully supported. For now, I will push a PR that will ensure that the property is saved and loadable from Firestore, but leave TODOs where it would be necessary to make the property accessible for use in app rendering.
