Were you able to figure this out? I'm also unable to get the interactive viewer working and can only see a black OpenGL window. Running ./gaps_is_installed.sh returns Ready to go!, but I noticed several "Unable to initialize GLEW" warnings when running the unit test
EDIT: fixed this issue by compiling with GLUT instead of mesa in build_gaps.sh. I negated the final if condition in build_gaps.sh to be
if [[ $(uname -s) == Darwin* ]]
Note that this screws up some of the depth image rendering in meshes2dataset, so you may want to compile with Mesa just for that script.
