@gustawdaniel thank you for the question, I can try to help answer a few of these. With regards to performance comparison we do not have any comparisons with Axios or other HTTP libraries and are not likely to perform any tests to gather such metrics.

With regards to package size you can get a general idea by comparing the two packages on a site like Bundlephobia.

For popularity you can compare the weekly downloads on NPM or compare the number of stars on Github. While not a perfect measurement, this should give you some idea of the popularity.

Yes, Gaxios should work on a front end.

Dependency numbers can be compared by examining the the package.json for each library.
