Can you provide small recipe to reproduce the issue you are seeing?

I tried to reproduce in a controlled environment but it works fine with zepto alone.
Maybe it is not zepto or maybe when I bundle all my libs with uglify.js creates a collision.
Sorry for limited help here.
I can produce a whole application build for you where I can reproduce the error but don't want to bother you with a large codebase.

There is a compiler flag to add the (function () { ... })() wrapper. We can try building with that flag and it should solve this problem. I'll try it out on Monday.
