Deploy a second API instance as a failsafe about crab.fit HOT 8 CLOSED

Deploying to multiple regions seems to have resolved this for now. Let's hope we don't encounter any more issues with availability.

Hey @TadeSF, I'm so sorry this happened, looks like my host for the API had an issue and it went down. I'm upset it happened while I was asleep as well, sorry it's been down for so long!

It should be back up and working again now. I'm going to investigate methods to prevent this from happening again.

I believe it happen again. Can't create new events nor login on to old ones. And it seems that old events are not loading the availability.

Need help with something? How and where are you hosting the API? Maybe creating some type of watcher testing a ping endpoint could help to restart or at least alert for the fact of being down.

Could it be better to have the min number of instances at 1?

Thanks @Midas-sudo, but I want it to scale down to 0 when not being used to reduce costs on my end. That's not the issue here though. I'm going to try adding a restart_limit which should attempt to restart the API if it fails.

Edit: looks like restart_limit isn't applicable to v2 apps, which is what the API is running on. I'm going to keep investigating potential solutions.

I've set it up to scale to three different regions now so hopefully that will provide some redundancy and also speed it up for people from other parts of the world.
