The easiest solution is to use Ubuntu under WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux)
In the template folder, open a windows terminal;
In the terminal, open a Linux terminal & install the nvm script:
bash
curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/creationix/nvm/v0.34.0/install.sh | bash
exit
You have to close and reopen your terminal to start using nvm. Once it's ready, install node & npm
bash
nvm --version # 0.34.0
nvm install node
# Verify installation
node --version # v10.16
npm --version # 6.9.0
# Build & start the API
cd ./api && npm install
[....]
src/index.js -> build/index.js
src/seed/seed-db.js -> build/seed/seed-db.js
src/seed/seed-mutations.js -> build/seed/seed-mutations.js
GraphQL server ready at http://localhost:4000/graphql
