Sorry about that.

The tagChimp plugin has this assertion that checks that chapter numbers in the results from them go from 1 to # and you have made a search that returned http://tagchimp.com/tc/195695 which have chapter numbers that go from 0 to #-1. I have sent a mail to the guy running tagChimp asking about this and am waiting to hear back from him.

There isn't much you can do to work around this crash other than to disable the tagChimp plugin when you come across it.

You might need to restart MetaZ before it takes effect.

I looked into it some more and MetaZ seems to no longer check to see if a plugin has been disabled. Crap!

Hey griff,

I'm sorry to bother you, but was this fix implemented? I am having the same exact issue as the original poster and I am running the latest MetaZ. I am looking through the release notes on the last version (1.0a13) and it does not show any reference to issue #39 the problem about tagChimp crashing the application.

If this is a fix that needs to be done using the code you provided to remove the assertion causing the crash, how does one go into the source of the program to fix it?

Thanks in advance.
