It looks to be an issue with phantomjs, it gives no trace details on syntax errors. I'll look into it further but that doesn't look very promising.

I think there is already a filed issue on that. I recommend validating the code ahead of time using the same technique like in https://github.com/ariya/grunt-jsvalidate.

Thanks @ariya, maybe i'll look at wiring some validation in if it doesn't degrade performance too much. Maybe as a default:off option.

Unless the test file is > 10K lines, the validation should finish < 1 sec.
