make fails about gtkd HOT 8 CLOSED

You gotta love those descriptive error messages.

On 64bits ArchLinux the make file completes without any errors, when compiling for 64 or 32 bits.
I'll try to setup a 32 bits virtual machine to see if that reproduces the error.

In the mean time could you post the output when compiling with:

    $ make LDFLAGS="-L-ldl -v -L-v"

from gtkd.

The make file runs just fine in my 32bits VM (ArchLinux).

So i'll need the verbose output to see whats messing things up on your machine.

Maybe a silly question, but is gcc present on your system?

I do. Typically I have CC=clang, but not when compiling D code.

From the gist it looks like dmd fails when it tries to call gcc.
But i have no idea why.

I have this same problem.
Everything works fine if I run make again after make install
I just assumed it had to do with rpath (just another thing I don't understand)
