I've seen a few places where FOV assumptions are hardcoded already. This will take a bit of work, but I think it's viable.

Hoikas managed to fix a couple of the 1080p issues, in this commit H-uru/moul-scripts@c8766bf
Of course we still need multiple screen support. Yootay suggested that this'd need the FOV to be parameterised for this to work.

Things are still a bit strange at some resolutions (confirmed at both 1440x900 and 1280x720, so at least 16:10 and 16:9): http://forum.guildofwriters.org/viewtopic.php?f=117&t=5569

Things are strange for me, no matter what windscreen resulation I use, only 4:3 work properly for me.
