Summary of the discussion on this topic during meeting with Sandri Kramer (Project Manager, Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center):

• If the app asks the user for feedback, it needs to be sensitive to the user's state of mind when the ask is made.
• A potential way to control for this would be linking the ask to the tracking function -- if the user selects "dismiss notification; no suicidal ideation present" that could trigger a feedback ask
• Frequency of asks would be kept very low
• A potential way to make the ask low-effort and remove the risk of questions feeling invalidating is, instead of the typical survey or writing a review request, to provide a simple way for the app to send the Not-Today team their tracking log of days with/without suicidal ideation.
• The KPI would then be: do number of days with suicidal ideation decrease over time? This would test a hypothesis developed with Sandri that when more consciousness (i.e. less dissociation) is brought to the fact that the SI is a passing phenomenon, frequency of episodes may diminish.
