hey a while back I switched how you install and use the tool. now you'd want to install it as a package. I'll try to write down the steps as I recall them. I won't have my Linux machine available for a while.
- use pipenv to create a virtual env and install the dependencies
- install this package from source: from the virutal env and the root directory of this repo do
pip install -e . - now you should have an executable called
webcam_modsand you can run it withwebcam_mods --help - make sure to create the virtual video device necessary. there is a make target for it
from webcam-mods.
