Actually, Issue is, when we import <any>.json it will load all json in memory. Same will happen when we will use folders. Parent will import Child and so on. When we will import parent, same thing will happen.
I was also thinking of using dynamic imports, but I haven't tried anything yet.

suggestions, what if you create a states folder inside of it is the list of JSON files <count_code>.json. then thru getStates(CountryCode) pull that JSON. It may applicable to cities.

I think using a streaming json parser might solve this problem.

You can deepClone with a map function any objects to make a memory copy just using lodash or underscore or making your own deep cloning function
