Issue with JWT Verification When Using Base64 Encoded Secret about graphql-engine HOT 2 OPEN

I have tested encoding JWT secret with Base64 on the latest release v.2.37.0 and I am unable to reproduce the problem described in the issue. Can you please update your graphql engine to the latest and try again.

P.S: I used the same snippet of code you provided above to test this.

@Naveenaidu I was able to make it work with the following

• Suppose the secret key is myveryimportantsecretkey
• I had to add bXl2ZXJ5aW1wb3J0YW50c2VjcmV0a2V5 (base64 encoded ) as NEXTAUTH_SECRET
• then add HASURA_GRAPHQL_JWT_SECRET environment variable in hasura as '{"key":"myveryimportantsecretkey","type":"HS256"}'

It is a bit confusing that we need to use utf-8 secret as Hasura environment variable and base64 as nextauth
