Thank you for bringing this issue up, and apologies for lack of timely response. I've created an internal issue to investigate why applying migrations would be so slow specifically on github integrations, and will update with any progress.

This takes a long time for us as well. About 20 minutes right now, but we're just getting started, so I imagine it will triple in the near future.
To make this more challenging, there's no way to detect if there's already a preview project that has been set up, so each push means we have to wait 20 minutes, even if nothing significant changed.
