node 0.2 has a bug in its querystring parsing that throws with very complex querystrings that openid uses, see http://groups.google.com/group/nodejs/browse_thread/thread/7d50b59048ea8f89#
Instead of importing a fixed querystring in node-openid, I decided to jump straight to node 0.3, as using node-openid with connect/express triggers the same error as connect/express are also relying on nodes standard querystring module.
Comments are welcome though.

I guess that explains it. Because nodejs 0.3.0 is still unstable version. I also have nvm which is pretty cool so I guess I could upgrade without any effort.

@Swatinem From the e-mail you refer to, the querystring issues seem to appear when using your sreg extension. As this is optional, I want to look into it further. I am reluctant to require 0.3 because an extension requires it.

Yes, the problem only appeared when I started to work with sreg.
Go ahead, the _fixParams() needed for node 0.2 is still there, I actually forgot to remove it. :D

I know it's still there. :) I'm reverting the engine requirement for now and creating a list of known issues. We'll see if people experience other 0.2 related issues.
