Funny... I am testing Crowd v5.1.3 and the marketplace isn't showing any apps no matter what I search via find apps in Crowd.
Can you give me a link to the marketplace app you're trying with? I'll download the file manually and install to test for you.

In a very old version of Jira, I used the following method to crack plugins:

1. Download the plugin installation package using a web browser.
2. Decompress the package (.jar format), and the package name in the code is the plugin's 'app key'.

I just installed it - when I checked the marketplace, I saw it was a FREE app. No licence needed.

Jokes aside, within manage apps, when installing from inside the software, there's "app key" reference which can save time from finding it via Marketplace website after downloading and decompressing the package for the name.

After checking, I believe this particular app is paid VIA VENDOR, which means they don't use Atlassian's licencing model, it is checked EXTERNALLY. Most app vendors just use Atlassian's licence system as it is easiest for all involved. But this plugin can't be cracked because it is verified via vendor. Search for "Paid via Atlassian" for your apps (not sure if marketplace has this option, but "find apps" within Crowd/Jira/Confluence, etc had this pricing dropdown option.

I have recently installed Crowd without my new Atlassian Agent and it works - not the same for plugins as Crowd doesn't have Atlassian licence based plugins (only via vendor).

So, share more details of what you're doing, version, what agent you're using, etc......
