Can't Add Anime Directly from Recommendation Page about kitsu-tools HOT 3 CLOSED

Afaik this is caused because:

Watchlist.find_or_create_by_anime_id_and_user_id()

doesn't appear to exist. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

@kenshii that method would exist behind the scenes in rails, however as Hummingbird is using rails 4+ it should be noted that this method is deprecated.

All dynamic methods except for find_by_... and find_by_...! are deprecated. Here's how you can rewrite the code:

find_or_initialize_by_... can be rewritten using find_or_initialize_by(...).
find_or_create_by_... can be rewritten using find_or_create_by(...).
find_or_create_by_...! can be rewritten using find_or_create_by!(...).

Watchlist.find_or_create_by(anime_id: ..., user_id: ...)
or
Watchlist.where(anime_id: ..., user_id: ...).first_or_create

I don't think we're getting deprecation warnings; not sure where they're disabled, but we should definitely enable them in RAILS_ENV=development
