I think my plan here is to generate the automatic maven doc and add to it with some static doc.
I would like to have the doc in gitpages. My next steps on this work item are:
- investigate generating the maven doc (i've got this partially working but not fully hooked up)
- understand how we can publish to gitpages - looks like this is automatable (https://danielflower.github.io/2015/01/29/Generating-a-Maven-plugin-site-and-publishing-to-Github-Pages.html)
