Got it working by adding logging and going through the log. It seems that the .exe
files DO NOT need to be placed in a dist
folder, but instead in the root of the server folder.

I just tried to setup logging with electron-log
and tried logging on the events of the autoUpdater
. It doesn't seem to hit any of them.
Perhaps you could take a look as my package.json
