Problem excluding folders with spaces from sync about imapsync HOT 4 OPEN

The quotes are removed by the shell but it's usually ok. They're just there to protect the blanks from their special meaning in the shell, which is to separate arguments.
So, you have to be more precise. What problem arises?

For example, in Zimbra, I need to exclude a folder with the following name "Tomás D. Zandoná's example" and I'm not getting the filter to work... I don't know if it's because of the spaces, or because of the accentuation or the apostrophe... Thinking it was a regular expression, I tried replacing both the spaces and the accent with dots, but it doesn't understand the pattern.
