Agreed, completely. This has always been part of my vision for ngrok.

Probably if it is hard to implement in near future, could we get exportable "something" to use external tools temporarily? Or external tools integration would be awesome.

@uzzer What are you imagining? You could just have ngrok forward traffic to your tools and have them forward on to a final destination

still planning on this being supported at some point in 2.x. won't fix for 1.x. closing

+1 this would be very useful and put you a step ahead of the competition. This is a very frequent use case when testing integrations that receive webhooks.
