So two things:

  1. Golang runs on OpenBSD. I haven't built a binary for it, but if you'd like I can start creating those and you won't have to compile it yourself.
  2. I think documenting the protocol is essential to advancing the project. I'm working on the next version right now which is going to have a completely different protocol, so I'll want to devote work to documenting that one and not the current protocol which will be obsoleted.

Golang only supports amd64 and i386 on OpenBSD. I would like use ngrok on others platforms like ARM (golang doesn't support ARM because OpenBSD uses an old ABI for this platform) or HPPA. The work related to golang is realized by only one person and he probably has not time/interest in our weirdest platforms (http://openbsd.org/plat.html).

I thought a python client would be perfect for this but I did found nothing. So I created this feature request. Glad to hear you will document the next version of the protocol :) . Thanks!
